Ceremonies
According to your preferences and creed, we can arrange different types of wedding ceremonies for your marriage in Tuscany:
| Religious Wedding Foreign citizens can be married in Italy according to Catholic rites. Documents and pre Cana classes are required. This is the same all over the world. You will need to obtain the NIHIL OBSTAT from your local diocese, signed by your bishop. We will put you in contact with an English-speaking priest who will celebrate your wedding in Tuscany and help you in planning the spiritual side of the ceremony. There is also the possibility of printing personalized Mass Booklets in English. | | | Civil Wedding Foreign citizens who want to get married in Italy must obtain a NULLA from their Embassy or Consular Office in Italy. We offer full guidance for the paperwork and a choice of charming historical Town Halls. The civil ceremony will be translated into English by an interpreter, and witnesses will be provided for couples on romantic elopements. | |

| Religious and Civil Wedding Thanks to the Concordato, a special agreement between the Italian State and the Holy Seat, Christian Catholic Weddings can have a civil validity. In this case both civil and religious paperwork are required. In this case documents should be sent two months before the wedding date. The wedding ceremony must take place in a Catholic Church. | | | Symbolic Wedding A Symbolic Wedding ceremony can be a blessing or a non religious ceremony. It can be celebrated in any location, without particular restrictions. Usually the couples who choose a symbolic ceremony have had a civil ceremony in their home country, and they chose Italy to pronounce their solemn vows of eternal love. | |
